Quote: I do suspect that on Nov. 5th there will be a mad rush for the WWII proof ASE and proof AGE. You know it. I will be in that rush.

Quote: Picked up a couple too ! No issues at all compared to the mixup last year, so many collectors missed out. With no limit per household, I'm sure the big boys dealers are getting their fill to certify and sell on tv. Oh, you're referring to the ERP ASE-S. That was a whole different animal with it's 30k mintage. I expect a similar scenario with the End of WWII ASE release coming up.

Interesting. I'd take that to mean that they didn't make the full 200k. If so, hopefully the overall final mintage will be kept reasonably low.

That'd be nice and hope you're right as that would make the price increase a little more bearable, though I have a feeling they're maybe just letting the fulfillment center get caught up since they may be short-staffed due to Covid. I ordered in the first 15 min and just received shipping notice last night.

I was on the subscription so it automatically went through Tuesday and they just tendered it to USPS. Expected to get here Monday.

Looks like the Mint was smart with raising prices. The 2020 S PF is presently out of stock "Remind me".....84% sold on day one. These will be hyped by dealers and flippers for a year or so and then back below issue price (opinion)
Edit: oops...back on sale

Foxwoods, Where did you get information that 84% sold? That's 168,000.

Wow. That's way over the 146,735 mintage of the 2019-S regular proof. I guess 200k wasn't wishful thinking after all.

Well back to "currently unavailable". You're right Fox, was a smart move by the Mint to raise the price. So much for hoping the price increase would've deterred buyers and resulted in a low mintage. Oh well, glad I got my one.
