I currently only have two in barely recognizable condition that I am hoping to someday upgrade. Seeing as how decent examples match or exceed my yearly coin budget, however, it may be awhile before I manage to do so. 1794 Liberty Cap Half Cent: 1795 Liberty Cap Cent:

My only 18th-century US coin is this beaten-up and worn-out 1798 cent!

Great thread idea barryg. I have no examples to share but sit back hopeful that many CCF folks will come through with some lovely coins to show us - in addition of course to what you have already shared.

Quote: are colonials ok on this thread too? The title says "US Coppers" which I take as produced by the US Gov't. Colonials were struck before the US existed. But you may have a different interpretation.

Here's my keychain/lotto scratch-off 1798 Draped Bust Cent. I bought it like this. I would never damage a coin like this. I have no idea of the type.
