Mine came in yesterday and somehow I managed to wait until this morning. Thanks, Santa! I was toying with a graded Kennedy collection and you may have just pushed me over the edge. Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas all!
I'll post my photos once I receive my package, which I'm guessing might be next week.

A big thank you to my secret Santa. I received a Canadian 2006 Christmas-themed uncirculated set. Really cool looking quarter. Three nice large cents, with one of each monarch - 1901, 1902 and 1917. Three sequential Canadian one dollar bills in uncirculated condition from the last series. Very nice!

I would like to say thank you very much and Merry Christmas to Santa! I was a good boy and waited till the 25th to open and here is what I found: 2013-P WDDO-002 Jefferson nickel 2014-P WDDR-019 Jefferson nickel 1962 WDDO-016 Proof Jefferson nickel 1962 WDDO-023 AND WDDR-065 Jefferson nickel No Date 50% Off-Center Strike Jefferson nickel And this one surprised me... 347-48 AD Constans I follis - Siscia mint (Bad pics, sorry) I went online to take a closer looks at the doubled dies and I did have a little trouble seeing the 2013 and 1962 proof DDOs, but I need better magnification/lighting. The 2014 DDR is actually visible with the naked eye in Monticello's doorway. I don't know if Santa was unsure of which one it is, but it seemed to match the -019 better to me. The 1962 DDO / DDR is a nice one. I needed a loupe, but the spread on the reverse is unmistakable. And of course, who doesn't like off-center strikes? These will fit well in my Jefferson collection. The ancient Roman coin was the last I opened, so it did surprise me, but in a good way! It's the second attributable ancient I have. The other is a Constantine commemorative ca. 331 AD and in similar condition, so they will pair nicely. Interestingly, Constans I became co-caesar on December 25th (333). Go figure! Thank you again, Santa!

Santa dropped off a package for me yesterday. Fantastic items I have never seen before. An example of "Celtic Proto currency" (I'm going to enjoy researching this since I am of Scottish/Irish/English ancestry), a Silver Pfennig from King Albrecht (late 14th century), a Lithuanian coin dated 1665 and lastly a Lincoln Cent with JFK stamped in the field and a list of the astonishing coincidences between the two. Wonderful gifts and I am so grateful, thank you CCF Santa.

I am not going to lie; I am quite disappointment that my package has not yet been received; I paid extra to try to get it there before the 24th; I just looked up tracking, and it shows that the expected delivery date was the 22nd.
Oh well, I just hope my assignment is as patient as I am; And incase my secret santa is reading this, we had a HUGE dump of snow the monday before Christmas, and I have observed (the mail box is infront of our house) no mail delivery since that time. I haven't seen this much snow in one dump in over twenty years (I am not joking); I am quite grateful that for the first time since receiving (after a neighbour passed I got it) it roughly four years ago, our snowblower fired up!! The hopper was only a couple inches above the snow on our front walk!!
EDIT: It is worth mentioning that I sent another stateside package on the same date, without paying the extra to get it there before Christmas, and it arrived... wait for it... on the nineteenth!?

Unruhjohnny depend on the area and if they have Covid lockdown. Right now anything being sent oversea has an unknown lag time which is annoying but understandable. I think that sadly there might be a few they get lost this early not because of theft more so because they just get misplaced (delievery staff don't bother with something that so low and traceable)(trust me quite a few things have gone "missing" in delieveries for the bussiness I work for). I do hope my package gets there, sent it about 3weeks ago.

Mine showed up safely today! Santa definitely did his/her research, and I greatly appreciate the time and thought that went into it . I actually did have a 2 cent in the album, but it was a low Fine hole filler. This one fits perfectly in my album, as I'm shooting for a VF set. Nice problem free example that will stay in my album! It has also motivated me to add "working on my 7070" to the list of goals for 2021. Thank you Santa!!
