It's terrible how the Franklin Mint is always being blamed for things they didn't do. Yes the Franklin mint is offering a set of gold plated quarters, but there have been a LOT of companies gold plating them, ever since 1999 and the Franklin Mint wasn't active in coins back then. (They were in coins awhile back and then got out for years. They just got back into coins a few years ago.) The 1929 half eagle replica is, I believe, made by National Collectors Mint.
