I am new. Interested in trading duplicates to increase/fill my collections.

Can someone help me figure out how to make that connection?

Thank you

Well, if you stay on here for a while you can do a trade/swap, but you need 250 posts. I would also try to get involved in a local coin club. You can also sell your duplicates and buy coins you want.

I've traded with a few people and sometimes the trades are worth it and other times its not. If I have duplicates I give them to friends locally.

to CCF.

As "hfjacinto" pointed out, you need quite a few posts to trade here.

I don't collect coins but rather banknotes. I've traded very few (over decades) & as "hfjacinto" wrote, it can be either a "hit or miss." Most of the problems arise over collectors' inconsistent/variable grading/photographic & communication skills.

There is another site you may want to try called Numista:
https://en.numista.com/ I believe they have some guidelines posted there. Good luck!
