Nice find. On the 'E' on Liberty, Back up the image zoom on that area. You can see the doubling of the hair to the right of the image that you took the image.

Nice find and, though you probably didn't need so many, they are fantastic quality pics! Congrats!

I don't think your half dollar would the 70S DDO-005 FS-101. It looks like the 70S DDO-001 (very similar to the DDO-005). Attached are a couple of photos from the DDO-001 in collection, note the end of the first bar of the E in WE matches your photo. The DDO-001 is listed as a triple die if you turn your half around at different angles you might see the tripling on the last T of TRUST and some other places too, like hair under the B in LIBERTY or top of the S in TRUST.

@atrox001 - thanks for post! I have to say I agree now that I went back and looked a little harder. Probably get a few more too many photo comments, but I wanted to post these because I believe they show the triple aspect to n the S and T in Trust of this variety! 70S DDO-001

My bad MrBreeze! I looked for die markers to compare with your example when I was originally attributing but there aren't a lot of easy ones to identify. Atrox001 was correct. Thanks to @atrox001 for setting it straight. -CH27
