OK, I went and got two rolls.
Cost 30 Bucks... Did I do Good? I scan most of them if anyone wants pics. Here is the list of what was in them
1909 2 VDB's 1910 2 1911 1 1912 2 and 1D 1913 2 1914 2 1916 4 with ? S mint mark 1917 2 and 1 S 1918 1 and 1 S 1919 1 1920 3 and 1 S 1921 1924 4 and 1S 1925 4 and 1D 1926 5 and 1D 1927 3 1D and 1?S 1928 3 2D and 1D? 1929 3 D 1920 5 and 4D 1932 1D 1934 1 1935 1 2D 1O? Does not look like a D looks like an O 1936 2 and 1S 1937 2 1939 2 1940 1S 1943 1 1944 2 1946 1 1948 1 1956 2D 1957 1D 1958 4D
There was another but put it in my secondary book before recording it!
All of these are triplicates or more I'm missing only three from my primary collection and much more from my second. If anyone wants to swap (As long as your qualified to) let me know what you need.
I thought for the price this was a great deal!!

Congrats on a nice purchase.
I think you did very well.
Just the 2 1909 VDB's at the lowest grade (G-4) are worth around $12.50 each, so there is $25.00 of the $30.00 you spent just on 2 coins!

I know that I did not scan them straight.... These are the VDBs I got? Any Idea what grade they are? I know its wishfull thinking but it looks to me that it might be the top of an S on the right Coin?

jeff: I don't see anything on the 1909 VDB, but...
as for the other, post mint damage.

1909's look to both be VF.

Very nice Zincolns! GREAT FINDS! Nice eye to catch them. A lot of searchers would have tossed those into the junk pile.

I find some of the 80's cents (especially 83) interesting because of their sort of "bumpy" texture. Has anyone else noticed this?

Did anyone notice at the start of this he said two rolls for thity dollars? Cant you get rolls of wheat pennies for like five dollars on ebay?
