I like it when I find some wheat's but lately none 17 rolls down and just 1 post mint clip a couple Canada cents lots of 1960 and 1970 cents and a 6 s mint mark cents the rest junk Report this Post to the Staff
ibab Valued Member United States 167 Posts	Posted 10/26/2010 12:23 am I'm finding canadian cents of about 5 varieties, the king george 5, king george (1931), Elizabeth 2, then a newer version of that, and thats without crossing into 1982. Do people save canadian cents from 50s, 60s, 70s? Part way into a bag I'm finding more stuff in the set aside pile than in the return pile. I have been doing it for 4 years and have amassed 35+ rolls of wheats including 2 1909's and a 1907 Indian head. Also,an ms-63(my estimate) 1959D. They are still out there and the more you search the more you will find. I have also found 1-1999,4-2000 and 17-1998 WAMs in that time. It is definitely a numbers game so the more persistent you are in your search the more you will find. You will hit dry spells and want to quit but if you persist you will find good stuff! slash112 Valued Member United States 368 Posts	Posted 10/27/2010 4:48 pm as far as canadian pennies I keep anything pre 64 this includes 1953-1964 elizabeth pennies (the pic of the queen is small) then the king george pennies (37-52) king edward pennies (1920-1936) I live in buffalo NY and get many canadians I am only missing like 4 canadian small cents I have amassed a roll of extra george's and 3 rolls of extra 53-64 cents ****copper hoarders look up the make up of the coin too because they were copper for longer then us cents (my dates should be right, doing this off the top of my head in class lol) Report this Post to the Staff
