I average right around 23% copper but it is dropping off slightly lately. The big drop for me has been the wheats. It used to take about 3-50 roll boxes to get a roll of wheats now it is more like 6 or 7 if I'm lucky.

My last two boxes averaged over 50 wheats a box. But it is just a few rolls that appear to be mostly from a stash from the sixties. These rolls contain about 8-10 wheats per roll. I would like to have a solid box of the 60's stash.

I am about 3/4 of the way through a box, and here is what I found so far:
Wheats
1920 (VG)
1957 D (EF)
1958 (nicer EF)

The 1957 D was at the end of a roll, showing through the box, so I was thinking , but I am 3/4 of the way through and I only found 3 wheats.

Canadians
1963
1976
1977
1978
1995
1996
2001
1952-2002
2008(magnetic)

I am finished with the box now. Add to the above a 1940 S wheat (VF), a 1979 Canadian, and a 1960 D which is some kind of error. The reverse is very fuzzy, but the obverse is norman, except for a bit of extra metal on the field behind Lincoln's head. My guess is a strike through grease or a veryworn die.

Penny man looks like you scored well on the Canadians, think I have around 24 total Canadians now with a couple of pence too. Thats what I like about roll searching all the different and varied coins we can find.

First post. Have been reading the forum for about 3-4 months and get a kick out of the excitement from the new collectors. I've been a face value collector for at least 50 years and I am still excited about my new finds.

I also got a BU 1963, which is suprising, since I see the '63 D about 20 times more often, and I haven't found one of those in BU yet. I was looking through the coins I dropped while I was searching, and I found a 1935 in VF. The box was about 20% copper(the percentage around here dropped like crazy a bit ago. About the canadians, I live in Montana, so that is normal.

Had a different kind of box than normal for me. Nooooo 2010 at all and a total of 4 2009's, where as normal been getting 40-60 of each. Loads and loads of BU's all different years though. Had a total of 7 wheaties including a Bu 57D and a beat up 43 steelie, with 8 S MM's and 2 canadian. Opened my other box and went into a bit of shock, near 85% 2009D and the one roll I checked had 7 of those with the die crack and the Cud thingie on his right cheek on the reverse. This is the Professional Life ones. Maybe Santa will bring me something to take some pics with that I can post some of these coins.

penny man for me it is the 1969 p d and s I find more 1969 s then any other s I have maybe 1 or 2 1969 in BU .oldcoach I am jealous about the die crack and Cud. I think how cheaply the newer coins are made that I save all the bu coins that I can find because the circulated ones will not last
