Had a good day today. I saw that my boss had gone to the bank for some pennies. Five of the rolls just looked OLD - they had old-style phone numbers on them, like "KL5-1234." I bought them, and just finished going through them. Not one cent was newer than 1968. I found beautiful 68D, 67, 64D, and 68 examples for my folders, as well as about 20 wheats - though the oldest was a 44. Also found 45, 46, and a few 49D - the rest were all 56-58. Not bad, though!

No pictures, but I found a 1955 wheatie with some mint luster remaining. I made sure I checked for the DDO, but not luck!

1911 Wheat cent! And this really messed up Canadian cent. I noticed the date says 1867-19?. I have never seen one of these. Is there anything special about it? Or is is just a common commemorative or something like that.

Finally found a 1999 Wide AM... a bit circulated and toned, but it still counts :)

I am a big Lincoln collector, but I have never seen a WAM. I am sure that this has been talked about many times just like the 70-s small date, but could someone be so kind as to post one of the dates that has both a Wide AM and "not" Wide AM side by side, so I can understand the difference? I just do not know when looking through these coins, what is considered "wide" relative to "narrow". Thanks!
