I recently went through three sets of ten rolls each. My finds:
set 1: 24.8% Cu, two wheaties
set 2: 17.8% Cu, one wheatie 44-d, 2009-d log cabin
set 3: 22.8% Cu, one wheatie 51, 2009-d log cabin

I always show my finds to my friends and family and occasionally they pretend to be interested.

I recently found this forum...

and thought I'd share....

Last week, I grabbed $20 of rolled pennies from my local bank... In it, I found this gem... I'm a little mad that there were only 49 coins in the roll...but I'm guessing that I'll probably get over it eh? ;)

I got the best set of ten rolls I've had yet!
>42.6% Cu
>two rotated die cents. One is slightly rotated and one is approx. 40% rotated!
>1981-d dime
>one roll was entirely 1979 and older
>four wheaties 1936, 1952-d, 1958-d, 1958-d
>offset rim or something (not an off-centered strike, but I forgot what the term is)

The second group of ten rolls brought me this:
>20.8% Cu
>1955-d wheatie
>1989 Canadian penny

Nice finds, scotty11!

Look at what I found last night. Its not everyday you find an 100 year old coin in a brinks roll. So far in the last 2 months I have found many BU's and wheats.
1-1917p
1-1919s
1-1919p
AND NOW THIS 1909P
Any inputs on what grade its in?

Wow, a 1909...the oldest I found was a 1910. Looks to be VG, but has some damage, still a great find!

Finally got around to sorting out my pocket change container. It's the junk everyone in my family throws into at the end of the day. Sure found some interesting stuff in there tonight! Here's some of the stuff:

carwash tokens
sunoco old token
kenndy tribute token, pretty cool
1954 silver dime in F12
1959 Jefferson with tons of luster, looks MS
About 100 coppers
About 30 nice BU cents from 1984 up
one LP1 in MS
and....most importantly....my first counter stamp! All these boxes and I finally get one.

The counter stamped cents are no big deal, it's really just post mint damage. It's just cool to finally find one.

That 1992 CAM....now, that's another story. That's a HUGE find if it's real! Congrats!

Rockdude...I did find a few wheaties in that batch.

My best batch so far was from a couple months ago...before I found this forum. $20 in rolled-coin netted me 70 wheaties...and almost $10 in pre-'80's...(I was up waaaaaaay past my bedtime that night sorting thru it)

I'm $6.50 into a $40 batch as I type, and I've found this so far...
