Also about 6 rolls of copper from the 60's & 70's I kept.
I've been seeing loads of complete 2012 rolls. It's in my DNA to cull uncirculated coins so something in my soul screams no when I dump them in the junk tub. (With their hollow clinky selves)

another box down. I was only able to get 1 instead of 2 like id wanted but 1 is better than none. hopefully I can get another one tommorow.
12 wheat pennies, all 40's and 50's.
6 canadian pennies, 1 of them being 1947 one 1943.
15 rolls of 55 copper pennies a roll.
year totals so far
158 rolls searched
38 wheat pennies, 1937 the oldest I believe.
22 canadian pennies, oldest being 1943 and 1947.
40 rolls of 55 copper pennies.

yeah. I get a few cents per box or so but mostly newer and less frequent Never this many or this old in one box. One roll was almost all Canadian Maybe I should buy a book to store them. May I ask where you got yours? Maybe coins+ has one

Searched a box of customer returned rolls and only one wheat, 1943 which is also the first steel penny I have found searching.

So the last box was a skunk with the exception of a steel wheat.
I have to go to see my tax guy tomorrow so I can't check them all but about 5 bucks into the next box and this is what I have so far. Customer wrapped rolls, one roll was full wheat

i have someone dumping old coins at 2 banks, got a whole roll or buffalo's with readable dates last week too, crazy, wish I could just buy it all before it hits the tellers drawers

Found one on line made by UNI-SAFE, a Canadian company. Maybe some of our Canadian friends can recommend where to buy it or something similar. And looking at the album, I need 9 to fill it. Of course they are the tough ones. Might have to buy them. |
