Quote: Is there some kind of trade network set up where people from different parts of the US can trade coins with different mintmarks?
I'm thinking the same thing and I live in Delaware. I'm just two hours south of Philadelphia and I get great P-Mints. D-mints and S-mints never seem to get here. All of my 1980's, and even 1990's d-mints from circulation are brown, ugly, and riddled with problems. I've added you to my friends list and when I reach fifty posts I'll send you some penny's. Just let me know what you want and I'll send out first. If you like them then you can send some back to me.

Capt, I am down in Wicomico Cty here on the shore. I get fair amounts of qualitiy "D" cents as I search a lot of rolls. If you are looking for anything in particular, let me know and I will check the stash.

Last night, my son was finishing up a Brinks box I picked up for him on Thursday. He found about 15 wheat cents in the box, including a 1917 and a 1919. There were about that many LP3s as well, and five Canadians that I needed.

The first one above is the one I found the other day.Only differece is it was on a 1969 penny and it used the coin date for the counterstmp year date. I will try to get a scan up later today.

Thanx! It been fun collecting stamped cents with scenes on them. I'm always looking for nice examples with interesting scenes. Got about twenty so far but I don't see many come up very often. I can usually grab them for a couple bucks at most. Please keep in mind if anyone finds cool ones!

Wow! those are neat, I've never seen them before. They occationally end up in circulation? I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for that.

I'm not 100%, more like 90% sure I pulled a 1968 proof from a customer wrapped roll, today. I'll try to get a pic up later tonight to poll the experts.
Psyched for my first proof-pull.
