Finally got around to doing a box after nearly 2 years. $25 CWR yielded a few wheats, a couple Canadians and a nice ~20% copper. Looked to be the contents of two change jars; one from ca. 2005-2008 and another with tons of BU 2013-2014. Best finds: 1948-S 1918 1998 WAM1967 Canadian centennial (that makes 4 from circulation in the US) 2009 LP-4 in high AU The WAM is probably a solid AU 55... is it worth the fee to get slabbed and put up on the 'bay for some spending money?

Pulled a 1935 George V Canadian cent out of a Garda box a few days ago. Grades a VG. Only found a few of those in the 8 years I've been searching.

Congrats! I'm actually kinda jealous of you guys down there finding George Vs in rolls. I can't get any more penny rolls here.

My favorite foreign coin for sure! Nice looking coin!
Slur - I know what you mean! Once I get around to putting a Canadian cent album I'll happily trade away the balance with our neighbors to the north.

10/3 Results- 2500 searched - 19 LWCs (decent yield; 1939, 1947D) - 30 LMCs (a couple nice specimens, but nothing special) - 6 S mint LMCs - 13 Foreign (all Canadian) - 16 Error/Variety (need to type them; nicest is a 1991 DDR) - 9 2009 (kept a few) It was nice to see the LWC yield pick up over the past two boxes. Copper levels around 30%. Happy Hunting folks!

Nice box Rackster! More LWC than any box I've done by far and 30% copper is dbl what I usually see.

Thanks rdlem - I have a new box to start and hoping it's got a treasure or two in it. Finishing a box of nickels and it was a good one!

A full box of zincs? I don't think I've ever seen that but I have had boxes with very little copper, like 15-20.

I started dumping my copper without counting so I'm not sure what this box had but it seemed a bit lower than the ~15% I usually see. 2 LWC 54D, 57 6 Canadians 78,85,92(2),01,06 11 2009 and these keepers... 1995 Greaser on D in GOD 1963D-1MM-004 (I'm currently making sure it is one in the variety forum) 1988D Greaser NO FG intials If only the obverse was as nice as the reverse.
