Forty-five rolls into my bag and thus far I've found six Canadian and six wheats. I'll give a final tally when I complete the bag.

We'll be here. of any fun finds you make!!

p.s. just noticed you are tracking your Canadian finds. Interesting that you haven't found a nickel older than 1983. But as I got to think about it, I'm not sure if I've found older in recent months of CRH.

Well, I haven't updated the signature in over a year, and this weekend I found a 1975 Canadian nickel. I'll probably eventually get around to updates.

I went through 5 boxes today that had been piling up.

I found a 1910, 1911, 3 1919S, a couple from the 1920's and 1930's, a couple of older Caandians, a mint set token, and my first Indian Head cent in a long long long long time. As a matter of fact I haven;t found a V nickel either in about as long either

Oh and a 1954.

What makes a plain old 1954 so special? It is the last one that I needed to fill the hole in my Dansco that isn't a key date.

I get 2 boxes of nickels and 2 boxes of cents a week to go with my halves.

Since cents have the lowest investment dollarwise they get pushed to the bottom of the pile when I have free time as the rest I need to recycle to keep the roll hunting fund going.

I have run out of a surplus boxes to search on more than one occasion which still baffles me.

Someone once posted they paid their unemployed brother in law 10% of the dump to cash in $600 in cents. I told myself SAY WHAT?

Then one time I had to haul in $150 in cents to a bank and I told myself now I get it.

Not the best bag it could have been, but not terrible. Seventeen Canadian, three San Francisco LMCs, and eleven wheaties. Nothing older than the 40s, but any wheatie is a good wheatie.

You have a system Jack...and it's working!! Awesome coins you've posted over the months I've been here! Volume will certainly increase those fun finds, but time is limited on this end, so I have to optimize rather than maximize.

On heavier loads, I've carried in two boxes of nickels and a box of cents and recall, I won't do that again. I limit my returns to a more comfortable load when negotiating the double doors, etc.

St R - not a bad yield at all really. Cant all be solid LWCs, but it's fun dreaming!!

Good luck on the hunt!

Honestly, I was hoping for a bit more variety - I like getting things like 10 Rappen, Panama centimos, and odd world denominations in my rolls.
