Well, 13 rolls of cents today produced 4 wheats including this one, which will celebrate it's 100th birthday in a few more months and days...

Pulled the following old Wheats from a box I sorted over the last two days.
1916 1918 (In rough condition) 1920 1929 1934 1939
The last five boxes I've gone through in the past two weeks have been Wheat Heaven. I actually had twenty six Wheats in a box I sorted on Monday, Tuesday. I know it's supposed to be random but it never seems that way. After a summer of five or six per box it's been a fun run.

I'm 27 rolls into a new box and this hobby fascinates the you know what outta me! I found 17 wheats and 4 or 5 of the wheats and some 60's that must of came from the same source. About a dozen, even though it seems to be frowned upon were polished. I found it interesting because these were not all together in one role but scattered throughout the 27 rolls. I'm positive they all came from the same place though. I've also found some of these polished wheats together with wheats that were not polished. Best roll (23) copper Least roll (8) copper Canadian copper (9) Wheats (17) 1920 1936 1940 D 1944 (3) 1945 1951 1952 1953 (2) 1953D 1955 1955D 1956D 1957D

Quote: I also found a small date 1960 :) In all of my years of collecting, I've never found a 1960 Small Date. I've found around 30 of the 1960-D Small Dates, and one 1970-S Small Date. Congrats! I hope to find one someday!
