Wow! Nice finds! Just so you know, the format for entering a URL is [url-] (website) [/url], but without the hyphen.

I just found my 2nd George V ever in a Lincoln roll! 1920, which is I believe is the first year of issue!

Yes, that is the first year that small cents were issued. Great find!

Great find on the King George V, aristarchus123! We decided to try our luck at a box of pennies (plus 2 extra rolls) over the weekend. Opened the box and it initially looked like a solid 2015 box. However, there were a few enders of 1990s and other memorials. Decided to open it anyway, and ended up with a total of 3 wheats (41S, 46D, and 56), plus a few Canadians and a 2009. Not fantastic, but quick to sort through as each roll only had 4-8 non-2015 pennies to check.

So I just started coin roll hunting yesterday and figured I'd put $6 into it at my local bank and see if anything came of it. Well out of 12 rolls I found three wheats (and one Canadian cent). Not bad for my first time. I can see this becoming addicting...

Congrats on your first finds. From someone who began hunting just last winter and has already lost count of how many boxes Ive been through, yeah its very addicting. & dont forget to look for those varieties and errors. Ive found a 1994 DDR, 1982 DDO & 1983 Cud to name a few. & they are easy to miss if you don't look.
