Quote: Wheats just poured out... all common stuff, but 34 of them... I quickly look for other similar looking rolls... Next roll has 47 of them... again all common stuff... A third roll has 46 of them... more common stuff... 127 wheats out of 3 rolls! For a change, I got $20 in customer-wrapped rolls rather than a box of machine-wrapped rolls. While I did not find a hoard like John77 (congratulations!), I did find a non-copper cent!

Wow, mountainman2, an 1893 IHC! I would be excited and thrilled to find one of those! Congratulations on a great find.

Quote: "Still no LWCs yet..." Until today! They're not great but my first Wheat finds. Also found a 1981 Canadian and 2006 dime not worth picturing (could barely make out the date). This after a total of 28 MWR and CWR mixed, so not bad I think.

Finished another $25 box of pennies. Sorry my camera cannot take close up pictures. Sixteen wheats the oldest was 1939,nineteen Canadians the oldest was 1942,thirteen LMC from 2009,two S mint marks a 1969-S and a 1944-S,a 1981 that's a little off center, the "L" in Liberty is almost at the rimless edge and the rim closest to the"1" is split and extra thick. 724 copper LMC. I noticed only two damaged zincolns. These were all Loomis rolls so maybe they're pulling out the severely trashed coins?

Happy New Year everyone! My son and I did 2 boxes of pennies over Christmas break, and did okay. Found a total of 19 wheat pennies, oldest being a 1940.
