Coinee- sorry I could not respond sooner about the 1910. I do not think it is a lamination error, but It is still hard to tell.

Yay! I finally found a Wide AM, my first! I don't think it's in too bad condition either.  And for the latest CRH box of cents this was the worse looking one.  For those keeping count: Wheat backs: 5 (this is bringing down the average which was about 22 per box) Here's what I kept: Year Qty Details

As I recall, the first one I found had a big gouge on it. The WAM's are one of my favorite sets in the series. They are within reach of anyone willing to search enough coins. Found this 1957 D in a roll.. seems to be in pretty gooder shape best looking wheat I've found and only my second box of pennies   |

I don't really search cents that often, but recently I got the urge for a week or so and probably searched around $50 or $60 dollars worth...earliest was a 1910 that on its absolute best day would grade AG. Again, Id like to post a pic, but I'm fairly technologically challenged and cant figure out how to get the photo to a JPEG...Mr. jbuck sir, I did use those tools you suggested...got it to the right size, but couldn't do anything about the format. ( I taught school from 2008-2011 and still only used a chalk board while most teachers loved their "smart" boards and other such things...this may seem odd since I'm only 35, but just the way it is)

My bank didn't have a box available, and the teller only had an extra $2 in rolls. Ended up okay, as we found 2 wheats (48D and 52D), and a 1945 Canadian King George VI cent.

Wow coinee, a Wide AM would be a nice find good for you. And Mrzllewellyn, that 57 looks good but wear behind Lincolns head and One on the reverse. However the stocks look really well defined. Also am wondering if that is a strike through. See the dip between the CE on the reverse. Either way good find. |

Searched $8 in CWR and the only interesting finds were one wheat (44D) and 1984 Canadian.

I was 18 rolls into a new box and only one wheat to speak of, 1957. Roll 19 I was pleased to add my 3 and oldest Indian cent I was not able to dig back into the box again until last night and this surprise happened.  Also a got a nice 1926. It always surprises me when I find real nice coins in what I call junk boxes, boxes which have low copper amounts and very few wheats. I'm hoping the last 10 rolls there is another gen hiding. |
