I haven't done any coin roll hunting for about 20 years as the eye strain was just too much but I just purchased an electronic microscope and after playing with it for a while figured it was a perfect time to get back into it. I played around with it with my collection and the ability to see the coins on the computer screen has got me hooked again. So I went to the bank and got 10 rolls. Now I remember how hard it can be to pull good coins out and feel free to call it beginner's luck (or re-beginner's luck) but half way through the first roll I pulled out a 1906 IHP. I've been smiling and shaking my head all day. It'll probably be a couple of years before that'll happen again. Here are the totals: Coppers: 115 23% LWC: 3 IHP: 1 Canadian: 1 2009s: 2

I got a box today- or at least 50 rolls. The teller didn't have a box but offered me a garbage bag, which I accepted. After parking at home it ripped open on the way down the hill. Two rolls broke on the gravel path and two more rolled into a patch of sword ferns, and on top of that it was pouring rain. I managed to get everything, but at least it didn't happen in the bank parking lot. I got 47 Loomis rolls wrapped this year and 3 CWRs, of which two contained plenty of bright red 2004-06, all D mint, and nothing newer. 5 wheats: 1944 x2, 45 S, 50 S, 56 13 Canadian: 1962, 73, 75, 80, 81 x2, 84, 92, 93 x2, 97, 99 15 2009 D Two similarly placed die scratches and a somewhat misplaced mintmark: This one, from a Loomis roll, is probably the star of the show. Looking at the reverse I might believe it was a 2008. There seemed to be a lot of S coins for the applicable years- I would guess at least a third. If I get a chance I may check again.

Searched my first full box. That is a lot of coins. I think it was a success. Here are the results: 12 LWC: 11,28D,41,42,44,44D,45,45D,48D,51Dx2,57D 2009s: 16 Foreign: 2 Canada:38,99 Coppers: 569 - 23% And a nice 1983 w/ an obverse die crack through Lincolns head. Not sure why my pictures kept getting smaller.

Scored an 1881 IH in the second to the last roll. Man it's always exciting when your brain computes what you are looking at when it is seen for the first time in a roll. I posted a picture on my Instagram @yanksuniform
Results (2 Canadian enders)
