You will be happy (or mad) to know the 2021 W type II proof ASE enrollment is sold out. The 21EAN has a mintage limit of 300,000 with a maximum household limit of 25. Pre-order through enrollment isn't allowing any new enrollment or changes to existing orders. The same happened to the 2021 W type I proof. The remaining mintage goes on sale July 1 and probably will end within minutes. I doubt there are very many to sell on July 1. Bill

A 50th anniversary Ike would have been a great coin to put out by the mint.

I will say I was considering the Law Enforcement Memorial coin. Then when I saw the designs, I was disappointed with what they went with. I showed a couple family members the finalists, and they were hoping one of the K9 designs would be included. I think between the price and not putting out a design the general public would like has caused that one to go in the hole.

1847Bill - Were there separate enrollments set up for the type 2? I have existing enrollments active for the W, S, and uncirc. I thought I should have been good to get the type 2's under this? I didn't see any other enrollment options on the mint website.

You're covered if you have enrollment in. The enrollment covers the type I and type II.

It should be the same enrollment.

I saw no separate enrollment option so those w/ existing W Proof, W Uncirculated, and S Proof subscriptions should get the Type II when they are available.

Hard to disagree with any of the above complaints. I also think that issuing 15 or so different silver dollar versions in a year isn't feasible. At $73 to $85 a pop, are average collectors really shelling out $1200 just to toss a stack of modern coins in a drawer? For that kind of money, I can buy something that would be a highlight of my entire collection.

Quote: There doesn't seem to be a unique coin in the ASE gold coin designer set by the looks of it: https://catalog.usmint.gov/american...on-21XK.htmlRegardless, it will be very difficult to get one. Good luck to those who try! They released a picture of the set now. The packaging looks good but as said above, the coins in it are nothing special (from the picture, mintage, or known information on it) So at this moment you are paying for the Numbered Certificate, the CHANCE of a signed COA, and the packaging. As a 1/10 oz gold AGE from the Mint this year is $320, this set should not be more than $650 (unless the price of gold changes)

Nice! The two coin gold set has two designs, the two coin silver set better have the same!

The pricing grid will show you how the price will change as the gold spot price changes.

@jbuck its nice seeing the TWO different AGE but its not like the reverse proof ASE set. I would have love to see a different finish on these 2 coins making them different than normal proof coins. Technically there is no way to figure out if yours is a normal mintage AGE or a 1 of 5000 mintage other than having a sealed designers box from the mint. I will still want one but I am not extremely happy with choice of finishes... I would love to see a reverse proof AGE or enhanced reverse proof/uncirculated...
