Congrats' T-BOP! I hope all does well with it. One show near me opened up in October and it felt great to be able to visit a coin show again and talk to some people I haven't seen since February. However, even though nothing went wrong, coin shows are once again 'banned' in Michigan.

Good luck and stay safe!
I hope our spring show will be back. Time will tell.

Australia has just been through a period of nearly a month with zero new community CV-19 infections, zero hospitalizations and zero deaths. Zero coin shows across Oz for the last nine months as well. Nevertheless, I am reasonably certain that coin shows are not the sole reason for community transmission of CV-19. That is a great pity for Australian coin collectors. Enjoy your coin shows!

Waiting (impatiently and pessimistically) for my local shows to do the same....definitely miss the camaraderie of so many coin heads in one place :)

Our spring show did happen, but I did not attend. Safety precautions are not mandated around here, with voluntary mask and distance observance running about 50%. The spring show is also in a smaller venue than the fall show (which I also skipped because of the surging cases). It was not worth the risk. Holding high hope for the fall show in October. I get my first shot on Monday.

TBop is it worth going? Good selection? Good prices?
I get my 2nd shot on the 4th, so I'll be good.

We have a small (25 or 30 sellers) monthly show here in Anaheim that has been closed since March of last year and is already cancelled trough May of this year. Hoping with the vaccines and all they will open in June. Quote: I get my first shot on Monday. jbuck, hope you don't get any of the after effects of the shots. My wife and I got our shots back in February. I had absolutely no reaction, not even a sore injection site, but my wife felt really bad the first day after the shot, had to spend the day in bed, the second day she was better but still feeling the effects but the third day she was fine.

Thanks. My wife has had her first (she gets her second the same time I am getting my first). My mother has had both. Both said they had the typical than sore arm after the first. Mom said the second shot made her feel puny for a day, but not sick. For what it is worth, our local health system is using the Pfizer vaccines. I have heard from people in other areas who have had Moderna shots. Many have said the second shot put them out of commission for a day or two.

So that everyone knows, we didn't get the vaccine out of place, I made all the appointments based on NJ rules. I'm computer savvy so I knew when to check and how to book the appointments. Now that I cleared that up.
My mom and I got Moderna, I felt nothing for my first shot. My mom was out of it for the first one and more out of it for the 2nd. Easily 2 days.
My wife got Pfizer, she had a sore arm for the 1st and was tired for the 2nd.
My oldest got the J&J single shot, was out of it for 3 days, but this kid (well adult) is a worry wart, so no surprises.
My youngest got the Pfizer also, as of today no issues, just a sore arm.

So TBop is it worth driving an hour and 30 minutes?

Quote: So TBop is it worth driving an hour and 30 minutes? No It's not worth it . Only about 20 dealers have been showing up the last 2 times I went and not too many people browsing the tables . Blame it on Covid . Only one door to get in or out , have to wear a mask, they take your temperature , your name and phone number . Social distancing is a nightmare around the dealers tables .

Quote: Social distancing is a nightmare around the dealers tables I can imagine, which is a good reason why I did not go to our show. There is always that one guy who pays no attention and butts in front people at every other table. Never fails. And I know that one guy would be one without a mask.
