I have never sent any coins to a TPG. Would this coin be worth it when you consider mailing costs and fees? Is ANACS less expensive than other TPG's?

I have one with a lamination peel of the entire obverse, but it still shows everything underneath. I sent it to PCGS. They confirmed it was a 43/2 with a lamination peel.

Quote: They worry the lam if not removed may flake off and damage the coin while in holder You mean their none air tight holder, where the slabbed coin can "change" over the years. That's why they only guaranty their service for a limited set of time John1
