A couple points that have been made are about as far as any of us can answer on here.

1: multiple TPG's have looked at this coin, some, multiple times, all with the same result. They are obviously ( or at least one member from each TPG who has seen it) not comfortable handing out an authentic label on it.

IMO, not worth sending back in unless you were to wait an extended period of time (years) to try again. They've given their decision.

2. Without the coin in hand of someone who really knows their EAC (recommendations have been made), pictures only go so far and is just speculation on our part.

I'd would be patient, or attempt one more deferential letter/email/call to someone at the EAC.

Or take the money and run
Best of luck

Dude PCGS has been in this business for 35 years and seen millions upon millions of coins; even the one you have pictured here. They of all people are the experts in determining whether it is real, questionable, or fake. If you sent it to multiple TPGs and all of them failed to recognize your coin as genuine, your best bet is to just sell it as is. The TPGs obviously see something that we don't. You won't get any extra help here that will help you argue a case with the grading services. Alternatively, you could take it to Pawn Stars?

The TPGs have all reached the same conclusion.
The coin is just too far gone to definitively ascertain
absolute authenticity of your coin .
To continue sending it back in hope of getting your
expected answer is likely pointless and expensive .
Best advice from an old pro ( 45 years in the business),
revisit the individual who offered you 5 K .
Take the money and run . Turning 300 into 5 K is indeed
good fortune , plus you had all the other pieces for free!
This is a tough business to make an easy living .
Often dealers make a few hundred on a five K deal.
Enjoy your neat little lottery win .

Thanks for several of the comments made. Those who attacked poor grammar, told me to take a hint and made pointless comments I really don't appreciate it. I was simply asking for help because it did not come back as not genuine or genuine, so I was looking for someone to give me their options on why this would happen and what they think about the coin. PCGS would not give me the answer on why it came back undecided other than it was not unanimous. 1796nopole, Conder101, and whatdowehavehere thanks for giving me great information much appreciated. You're comments were exactly what I was looking for. Also I do not sell anything I buy I did not ask for opinions on take the money and run they could have offered me a million dollars and I would have said no I don't collect to make money I collect for the history. I only mentioned the money portion because someone asked how much I got it for and I mentioned that I was offered $5,000 by a dealer as a hint to those who read my post that if a dealer had their trusted sources look at it and offer me $5,000 than just maybe again there is something I'm not seeing here. Lastly I only reposted so that there were clearer pictures since the coin was not in my possession at the time of the original post.

Quote:
jbuck please do not merge my post how are people suppose to know that all new information on a coin that could be worth tens of thousands of dollars is now on the 23rd comment? I want the same people who commented on this post to see a new post and not an old post with almost 1000 views and when you open it see old outdated photos. Thank you.
No.

By having two separate topics you will lose readers who will give up not wanting to go find an old topic for reference.

When new replies are added to a topic it gets bumped to the top of the list and people get the new information. Anyone who has never read it before will start from the top and read it all in context. No information is lost.

Thanks dictator jbuck. I do not want people to see the older pictures which is why I made a new post so the newer much clearer pictures were at the top with more updated information. I will never use this forum again. Rude uninformarative community who just care about telling people to take hints and sell sell sell I didn't not ask anyone for financial advice I asked for help on a coin I cannot seem to get answers to even from the coin grading companies because undecided is not an answer. Unbelievable.
