Hey hey diggers! Well here we are at the end of another detecting year. This year has been challenging for us all in so many ways but especially for the vulnerable amongst us. With snow on the ground and Christmas in the air I feel I had my last detecting day of 2020. Final field of the day was a very heavily detected site from the late 1700s. I sure wasnt the first guy there but was glad to be the last. The only coin I found all day and it was in really good condition from the ground. We dont find that many colonial US coins in our region so getting this one made my day for sure. In the past, I've found a couple of New Jerseys, a Vermont, a Fugio, and one Connecticut and all are in poor condition from the ground, this is the first decent example of any of those I've found before. To me it looks like a Miller 6.1-M Until next year and detecting season....stay safe, stay warm, and be kind to one another. ps I will be putting together a year end post of all this years treasures in the coming couple of weeks ,so keep an eye open for that!

A very nice find. Thank you for sharing it.
After a disappointing year and not having been able to get out since September, I have stored my detecting gear until spring. Here's hoping for a better 2021!

I love seeing what other detectorists find.
I waste too much time watching YouTube metal detecting videos.

@ironhorse, I don't see evidence of the mods changing your title, although that isn't 100%. Perhaps it was an autocorrect by the software?
