Hello!

This is the last coin I'm having trouble ID-ing. It's so small and worn that I'm not sure what's possible, but its worth a shot. Any hints as to the era, empire, design, historical context, etc would all be much appreciated.


Weight: 0.9 grams

Diameter: 9mm

Thickness: 2mm

Looks Byzantine, could be a seal if it's lead.

That's interesting, I haven't considered that it isn't necessarily a coin. Is there any way I could test if it is lead without damaging it too much?

It sort of resembles the bottom left coin here. A nummus I believe? I'm unfamiliar in this area of numismatics so if anyone can confirm/deny or give a more exact attribution I'd be very grateful

Turn the bottom pic 90 degrees counterclockwise and it looks like an O attached to the top of an N, so most likely Leo

Thanks Finn! I looked up some monograms in cat bikes and it matches Zeno (there's a faint z above the N after some cleaning).
