Do indeed check with them to confirm their policy regarding fee return/credit for coins not getting stickered is unchanged for "Collector" submitters (it was NEVER that way for Dealer submissions). Even if they've changed their policy, for just $15, for a coin of that value, it's still a no brainer (I hate that term, but it's commonly used).

The way it currently works is you get a $15 credit on your account, not money back in your hand.

That's good. Getting a credit toward a future submission instead of a refund shouldn't be a problem for collectors submitting coins.

"bidders or any buyer will then erroneously assume the coin failed CAC"

This makes a lot of sense. I bought this coin before CAC was a thing, so there is a really, really good chance its never been. Either way, you are quite right. Folks might think "Dang... Why doesn't it have CAC?"
