I stumbled upon my old stuff and looking through it instantly brought my love back for it. Now I have a 10yr old and 13yr old who I'd like to get into this and away from electronics. I have a bunch of the books partial or still empty and would like to fill them with the kids. Where does everyone buy their coins from now? I used to be able to goto coin shows (not many) and coin shops by me in NJ. I'm not really a fan of ebay. I don't look for any graded or high quality coins, just try to fill the slots in the books. I'll try to post pics of my "type set" think it's the 7070 book another day. I'd like to complete that one first. Report this Post to the Staff

I'm not a coin collector but if I were collecting coins, I'd be trying to buy here (from collectors you trust or are familiar with). I used to buy banknotes from fellow collectors on a different forum & was very happy with the notes I received. I still find ebay great but it does take some time (& energy) to discover who's trustworthy (& which sellers to pass on). You may wish to try swapping coins (if you have doubles).
