Ok don't no if this is the right area to post this topic, but here is what I am wanting to know is how many different silver bullion type dollar do they make from other countries. What I am taking about is like the American Silver Eagle Dollar. I knowther countries have them but not sure who all does so can you guys help me out. My goal is to try to get either a 2006 or if I have to a 2005 of all the diffent kinds they make.
Here are the ones I have as of right now.
1. 2006 American silver Eagle
2. 2006 Chinese Pandas
3. 2006 Canadian Maple leaf
4. 1990 5 Dollar Australian Kookaburras

I know of a few others I am going to get in the very near future
like the
2006 2006 Australian Silver Dog,
2006 £ 2 Britannia Silver Coin,
2006 Mexican Libertads,
if I can round one up a 2006 Kangaroo.
So please help me with a list if I am missing any other ones I know there has to be alot more but I do not know what they are or where to find them. Since I am very new at collecting foriegn coins.
Rest in Peace

djluster:

The Britannias are beautiful coins. I have a nearly completed set, and they are among my favorites.

Also, check out the Australian Lunar Coins. Very, very attractive.

Well, as far as I know, every country mints coins of silver and gold. And these coins are not usually used as currency.

These kind of coins you mean right?
If I understood you correct djluster, there should be a long list: lol

hi dj,
I know that Many coiuntries have minted silver bullion coins in some years-Isle of man, which mints "cats", Gibraltar "angels"
South africa has minted some, Zambia "elephants", somolia "monkeys" etc. You will aslo need to decide what you "count" as a bullion coin...
A couple of sites:
