Still on the hunt for my first unique coin error. Notice how the RIB in PLURIBUS runs together.

Would this be a die error?

Not an error.
A combination of MD, die wear and circulation wear.

Although it may appear a MD, it is normal and it's part of the design. Here is an example of a 1999 1997.a lcirculation wear will eventually flatten and widen the devices and make them more connected.

Although I haven't come across this type of wear in the other coins, the replies make perfect sense. Thank you everyone. I'll keep hunting for my first unique significant error.
