You probably already know this, but this is not a genuine "note from Antarctica". It is produced by the "Antarctica Overseas Exchange Office", a private company in America. As can be seen on their website, they also produce and sell fantasy notes for other "fantasy countries" like Easter Island.

Antarctica has no separate monetary system of its own. The bases in Antarctica use the national currencies of the nation that built and operates the base. These Antarctic notes are never found in Antarctica, except by a few people who buy them and bring them to Antarctica to give away there as novelty gifts.

Definitely nothing like that when I was there, Nov 68 to Feb 69.
I went there for the summer season
