Coin is 1DO-003, not DDO-001. A great variety and a very good find in that condition.

There, I was bored and like to practice working with pics. Yours and WDDO-001.

Looks like one to me :)

Its listed as 1DO-003 like TB said above. Whats odd 1DO-003 & 5 both have the same doubling and die dot between ST. Could possibly be the same DDO just a VLDS. Wouldn't be the first or last mistake made on the sites. Were all human

1DO-005 and DDO-001 doesn't mention any doubling on the bust. WDDO-001 shows the doubling but doesn't cross reference to either but mentions the die dot. I'm leaning toward 1DO-003 and 1DO-005 being the same DDO

thank you everyone...

i see it being 1DO-003 like tropicalbats states... them die scratches are solid.

but like Kloccwork419 states they may be one in the same doubled die.

They would have to check it out over on Coppercoins. They already have both listed but I think it could be the same DDO.

Starting to agree here. It's the die gouge by the R of TRUST that put me off from DDO-001. OP's coin has the dot by the second T, but I was trusting CC to correctly separate 1DO-003 from 1DO-005. That, however, may have been a leap on my part, as they honestly do just look like two different die stages of the same die. Can't fault CC, as that happens often enough where a die thought to be different turns out to be a different die stage after more info comes into play.

But to go from a generally non-abraded mid stage as shown in the DDO-001/1DO-005 examples, to a heavily abraded example, while adding a big gouge at the R and not removing the gouge by the ST would certainly be a rather big stage change. My die 1 is VEDS and not helpful to resolve any of this.
