So shinny. 2011 dime with miscalainious has one dual gray side other shinny and that 68 penny won't stop grabbing my eye. Any value in the modern day quaters as well? And my pictures are horcrap alot of the quaters are really nice mints some no scratches at all. captaincoffee Pillar of the Community United States 600 Posts	Posted 02/14/2021 11:18 am One of the great things about the Red Book (I think it is $14.45 on Amazon) is you can quickly look up a coin to find the mintages. The values listed should be taken with a grain of salt...closer to retail prices and not what you can get for a coin if you sell it. However, with just the mintages and ballpark values, you will know immediately if a coin is super common or not. For the State Quarters, there is a double whammy. They were produced in mintages of hundreds of millions. plus many, many people collected uncirculated examples when they were issued. Therefore, any you find are unlikely to ever become valuable. You can look for error coins of course, and if you are looking at coop's videos, you are probably on your way. Report this Post to the Staff
