Rothery's question was what do we think of his coin that he's submitting to us . I don't care what PCGS gave it , I'm still sticking to what I would have given it .thus my call of 66-67 . Just my opinions -so cut me some slack if your right and I'm wrong with your 64-65's .

I'm at 66. And I'd award it a FH if they were still doing that.
There seems to be a lot of "rim noise" from about 10 to 12 on the reverse.

i have to go with MS66. strike, luster and very minimal marks. I'm betting out of the holder it even looks better

First: Thanks for all of the replies. OGH - MS64. I'm torn between just leaving it because of the old style holder or get it regraded which would mean more value . Too bad PCGS hasn't come up with a way to regrade a coin leaving it in their old holders like they grade GSA Morgans in the OGP (or have they?)

I'll say the opposite. I think the grade is accurate. Those spots are very distracting and while I think it may be a technical MS65 the spots net it down a grade.

I'd say re-grade--knowing what PCGS does these days.

Send it to CAC. StacksBowers auctioned a brilliant CAC gold bean 1943 PCGS 64 Walker in an OGH for $1116 back in 2015. Crazy I know but a Gold bean would bring better than 65 money and then some IMO.
