Ok cool! I've got a question too. I see that you have a section for "extinct states". Any thoughts on an acceptable date range, or perhaps you are limiting this to machine made coins?

Upbate: I have begun the creation of a Key dates list for all coins. These coins are key in my opinion and thus are not considered key by all.

This is a fantastic idea, TCD. I have a few foreign varieties I've discovered that I will send you at some point. Especially a very strong doubled die on a 1985 Mexican 100 peso coin that I also cherry picked a second example of.

Just sent some coins for attribution, TCD - really excited about this project. You should see about contacting Tanman as well, I know he lists a few international varieties on his website. Perhaps you guys could collaborate?
Just one comment on the website: I think it would be nice to change the way images display to make it easier to use for reference. It's going to be a little annoying needing to click through the images one at a time as you compare a coin, especially as you add more varieties. One thing I would love to see (and I wish Wexler or VV did it this way) would be to have each variety shown by a single representative photo that highlights the doubling well that can be clicked to open a collapsible drop-down page of all the photos of that coin. Imo, that would be much easier to navigate than VV who make you go to a separate page to view all the individual varieties or Wexler who doesn't give you the option to collapse any of the images for faster scrolling on long lists.

Do they need to be attributed as errors? I've got what I think is a large die break on a Germany Nassau 1840 6 Kruzer. But NGC refused to attribute it as an error. Said it was "too minor." Well it's prob a quarter inch long banana shaped blob that goes across the lions face chest and groin. Got a UNC details grade for cleaned, but not damage. So it can't be PMD. Thinking about sending it to ANACS.

No they do not need to be attributed as errors for them to be uploaded to the site. You could even find a die crack on a foreign coin while CRHing or something and we'll still accept it.
If you wish to have it attributed on the site, follow the instructions on the website.
