I know some of you will say. "Will. That's not an error it's a result of an over polished die". Yes I know but it was considered a variety in the previous year. I thought it was cool so picked it up for $20. What do you think?

WADR, I would have passed on it just because of the carbon spots. It also does not look like the roof is floating, I think I still see attachment. What slab and what grade?

Well these are not a die variety. They are a die event. The die started off normal, and after a few times of polishing of the die, those devices were weakened. (Remember a die variety starts off as a die variety, from strike #1)

Coop. What's up with the 1969D FS-901 no FG. Or any of the bugs bunny half's. They were late die state add ons in my opinion.

My last rebuttal on this coin. John1 here's a closeup of the floating roof. Looks right to me?

Did PCGS label this one as a floating roof?

With the added pics, it does indeed look like a floating roof and no FG.

No this one isn't considered a variety so no label by PCGS. This seller has another of this die ms65 for $13.
