It is a very nice end of roll planchet, very end. The crystallin molecular structure could be see. Also interesting is the split go on both sides with same angle of detaching. On quarters maybe it is the third to see with this kind of split. I will put on third degree of split because is combine with annealing process or the similar for the year (I do not have exact process used in that time). Nice coin. Report this Post to the Staff

It seems like the upturning machine even put a slight upturn at the obverse edge of the coin. Too many things looking right for this coin. Did you find this one or purchase it?
