I was going through the stack last night and come across these 2 notes. They are both an "almost something cooler than the meager cool they exhibit", lol.

Still, almost is nothing really so, yeah, an opportunity to share and jibber jabber.

Close but no cigar. Again if the 0 was a 7, you would have a two digit repeater.
The 1 Dollar bill would be called a "Broken Ladder", not really a
collectable note but some may consider it a Fancy Note.

I'm the King of Close but no cigar! Just wait until I post my MADD Greaser that I am certain is a 1992 D Close AM LMC, lol.

I bought a USB Microscope just for that one coin and, to me, the delusional me, it is as I pretend. The last number in the year is greased out and from certain vantage points could be a 2 but, in all unlucky likelihood is a 3.

Thanks for the opportunity to chat.

- no, you're not. That's my title!

But seriously, if they were easy to find, then they'd be cheap (but they're not). They really can be tough. 3 & 4 digit radars are 1 in 1000 but it seems even more uncommon than that. I've looked through thousands of notes & honestly can tell you that I can go for months before I see a radar or repeater. I think I've kept every low # (below 1000) since I see them so seldom...so yeah... "welcome to the club."

& BTW: you could call the $2 'fancy.' It's pretty liberal. It's just not "special" (the term for truly collectible). Plus the condition of both are borderline.
