1985 S Kennedy - MD On JFK's Neck?

I'm slowly going through some mint sets, found this line starting under Kennedy's chin going down the neck then goes through the initials. Would this be considered MD? (footnote, it's tough looking at proof coins under a scope...)

I don't think it is MD,die polishing issue?

I appreciate the input, @John1 - I just read two very interesting articles from coinnews.net about proof coin polishing. I'm assuming the laser machine used at the SF mint for the last several years wasn't around in the early 1990's, so likely human error from polishing?

Would this make that line a die clash then? I am referencing this CC post - https://goccf.com/t/323932

Need an overlay.I don't see anything from the reverse that would match on the obverse.

It looks normal. The areas you are seeing is part of the design. I'm not sure what year they started the laser frosting of the dies. But that is what I would expect to see on example of one. On my tablet, so I can't check to see if they all look like that or not?
