I know the planchet is split but would these be clips on the obverse. Just noticed today it may also be clipped with the split planchet. Thanks for any info

Very nice split before strike coin !
From here it looks like the weak areas of the rim were from the split planchet as I can't see any missing areas from the round of the coin.

Thanks stoneman227. I wasn't sure what that was. I noticed the weakness and both looked slightly clipped so I had to ask

RW1010 , it just hit me that your split before strike example is very similar to mine. They just show the split on opposite sides of each coin.
