I like OGP and coins that come that way stay that way.
I also like having complete sets whenever possible but since I haven't been collecting that long going backwards can sometimes get expensive.
I've mentioned my Silver Eagle Proof sets and when working my way back I came across some years that were a bit pricey. But, once you start something you almost have to finish it.
I've also mentioned my Silver Krugerrand BU sets. I'm back to the second year but the first year (2017) had a very low mintage and they are not cheap. It will always bother me (I'm slightly OCD) if I don't get that year.
I try not to be too obsessed though because I want coin collecting to be fun and not turn into a job that just has to be done.

I kind of had to do it but it's okay because when the first one arrived I liked the coins and medal and overall the packaging is very nice.
I am glad you liked it. I like the recent C&C run. Of course, I like the Ike set the best.

In no way am I saying Do not collect what You do. I am ONLY stating what works for Me, This is Not a Contest with others, ( actually, it sort of is ). I collect what I call a Complete Set of American Silver Eagles, So does the Red Book. Not a Novelty Duplicate, because it has a Bullion coin in it, Your choice, Not mine. You stated You do NOT call what others consider a Full Complete set of Mint Marked U S Minted Coins, Please Explain GILLY.... I would like to know what " You " call a Full Set of minted ASE's ? Thanks for Sharing....

PS, Gilly, As I have Always said, Collect the coins You choose, I Love OGP'g I collect it in Most All I collect, I am Not seeking, Although it would be Nice, All Perfect coins, Just To acquire All coins in the Best Possible Conditions,.. We All have Extras of Each and Every Year of the Series or W/E collecting...

What I've personally collected is all the OGP. For the bullion, I just have a bullion set. You know how that works, there is no OGP, so for that I'm happy just having very nice ones that I have in capsules and a nice box. So that's my bullion. No graded, no emergency issue. Apart from that, I have every individually issued proof and Uncirculated, the clamshell or boxed issues. Then I have every set ever issued with an ASE in it. No graded, just the way it left the mint. So yes there are sets that have the same coin in it, for example a particular year may have the same exact coin in a clamshell, a congrats set, and the Limited Edition set. The sets are all complete, no partial sets. I understand some will be happy just having every year and mint mark. Some insist on graded. That's what they feel is complete, then fine.
