Hello all!
This Morgan dollar has an odd "M" on the reverse. This seems like something that was carved in after the fact, but the "o" in "God" looks like it is stamped over it. Any thoughts?

Looks like a love token. Not an error. Just a bit of creative post mint damage.

Not stamped over it. Because lettering is higher, whoever carved the letter
just stopped at the base of the letter instead of carving into it.

This is known as Graffiti.
