Yes a great start to the decade. Keep them coming! Here is a Denier of the French Duchy of Aquitaine that was minted between 1127 and 1137 AD. The obv legend is degenerate and reads something like [JVILIIMO while the rev legend is a more reasonable + BVRDEGVLA. I have attributed it as Roberts 4309 and Duplessy 1022. 2 cash, Jianyan Tongbao in regular script, 1127-1130. First coin issued by the newly established Southern Song Dynasty after the Northern court was captured by the Jin Empire in 1127.   |

I think there are some better conditioned Seal script 1 cash in the Wikimedia, maybe that can be used on the "Southern Song dynasty coinage" page. Quite surprise to see that many information and photos on cash coins in Wikipedia though.

Here is a sibling of your coin, @Spence. Aquitaine 1127-37, William X, Bordeaux. Silver, 0.89 g, 18 mm. Duplessy 1022, Roberts 4309.  I read the obverse legend as GIVILILMO, a local form or spelling of Guillaume. The 1st "I" looks like a reversed L, a strange feature that seems to be regular on these coins. Edited by erafjel

This Quarter Dinar dovetails quite nicely with the coins posted by @pal. It was issued by King Madana Varman, who ruled from 1128 to 1165 AD.   "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."

Here is my last coin for this decade, an Obol from the French Bishopric of Meaux. It dates to between 1120 and 1134 AD. The legends are pretty hard to make out, between the heavy wear and edge chip, but are BVRCARDVS EPSV on the obv and CIVITAS MELPIS on the rev. I have attributed it as Roberts 4652. Here is a Follaro from the Italian City of Salerno that dates to between 1111 and 1127 AD. It was issued under the authority of Duke Guglielmo and has the inscription SM on the obv and VV DVX on the rev, although clearly the flan was considerably smaller than the die. I have attributed it as Biaggi 2277.   "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."
