hearing your opinions/replies. It is a dirty coin but I could see a Wide AM on my end. The position of A & M on America and the FG initials are very convincing but of course, your inputs would count a lot.

Please verify & I'll reveal the year afterwards.

your picture is not very clear but from what I can tell that's a Close AM

Regular cent, every once in awhile someone posts one of these because there is a slight gap between the AM. This has been attributed to die wear.

Look at the FG - that's the EASIEST way to tell. For a Wide AM it's right up next to the building. Your coin has a huge gap. I've always used this to help me remember:

" Wide AM close, Close AM far" with respect to the FG. Here is a 1999 WAM that I found searching bank boxes:
