I tried that in the past. If the mint's website indicates that you have an invalid item in your cart, it does not care that the item is available again. You have to empty the cart and then add it again.

ah that is odd then. I would have figured it would allow it to check out if it went unavailable then available.

It has a product limit of 200K, not a mintage limit of 200K. If I recall correctly, the other ones typically go into the Silver Limited Edition Proof Set.

Typically the Silver LE Proof set includes all S coins but this year it looks like it will include both S and W coins... "MULTI (S)(W)"
So I would assume all of the circulated coins would be a S silver proof and the ASE would be a W. But it would be INSANE If they would switch it and make circulated coins W mints and the ASE a S mint. Or if they put in Morgans/Peace dollars (Imagine a W mint proof Morgan/Peace) Speculation though.
We also have to consider if the Mint sold any bulk rolls/lots like they did with the W ones.

So as far as we know its limited to 200k for this set so far. Not sure if the LESPS would give coolant on this coin or not.

Just received a text too. Shipped with the tracking !!!! Enrollment, has it's privileges !!!!! The United States Mint.!!!!!! I did NOT see an Oct release date for these S minted ASE'S. I did see that date mentioned for the Morgan/Peace dollar coins...... I saw mentioned earlier, about the LESPS for 2021, the set needs to include a W ( type 1 ) & S ( type 2 ) IMO......

I forgot about that possibility. What would be even cooler is if they included a type 1 S Proof only available in the LESPS (Which would be a first for the collection!) and a W type 2 proof.

Imagine a type 1 S Proof that is only available in the LESPS with a mintage of ~50k . That would make that ASE the 3rd lowest mintage ASE ever, behind the 1995-W Proof and the 2019 S ERP!!

This isn't the first time they introduced a W Proof ASE into the set. 2012-2016 (none in 2015) all had W Proof ASE. Judging from that, I expect the ASE to be a W proof. Why that, I am not sure. Its not about keeping the limited mintages, limited as I think the 2017 LESPS had a rare valuable ASE from the congratulations set earlier that year.

There are Far Too Mant ASE'S to keep after. I am simply suggesting to put the Two ASE'S that have been released, into the LESPS for 2021.......

I'd be a buyer for this for the W Silver Proof coins. But please, no... my wallet can't handle anything else this year!

My USPS tracking # is estimated for a Wednesday delivery, which means it'll probably get here Tuesday.

Wondering why the mint doing so many back order, in away it not fair to let us order then it jump to back order ( ASE) when most of us thinking everything going to be ship to us like always. I have 2 coins in back order CC and O that I might lose because my card got hack because of back other, if the mint don't do anything for me or other they gone. Other then the first 2 Morgan I have 5 in back order if I get ASE set they might be in back order that 6.

The mint is selling a lot of the coins to approved purchasers. They get 10% in the OGP plus all the 40 coin boxes they want. Not only that but they were able to start picking up before they went on sale. The mint recorded 13,986 sold and NGC has graded 982. The small mint customer is getting the balance and unlucky ones are getting backordered.

1847bill...let's look at it this way, maybe the back ordered ones will be struck from fresh(er) dies.......

Wondering what other might think about it?

I think the dies will be fresh. A backordered item from the mint is always better than buying an ogp item from the big guys. I doubt the ones from the big guys would grade any higher than 68.

Got my Proofs a day early. I thought they may be late because of the tropical storm near us.

I like the reverse.

Wish I had a camera to take a better picture of the coins. Alas, I spent all my money on coins.
