After all this time. My first double strike pick up. Although fairly common, these coins fetch a higher premium. I was lucky to pick this one up within my budget.

Coin was sold as Constantius II, but obviously it's Constans. I cannot make out the reverse.

Constans. D N CONST-ANS P F AVG, pearl-diademed head right / VOT XX ? within wreath. Mintmark ?.

Thoughts on the reverse?

Nice addition to your collection.

Despite having quite few modern very obvious gross error coins from around the World,
I have never had chance to acquire a nice ancient error coin.

The reverse is VOT XX MVLT XXX. The only part of the mintmark I can make out doesn't help-- the last letter is a delta; but it's from an Eastern mint, like Nicomedia, Heraclea or Cyzicus.

I have an Aurelian with a 180 degree double strike

Thank you all for your kind remarks. Victor your expertise is always appreciated. That Aurelian is very cool looking, never seen a 180 quite like that one.

I think the mint could be Alexandria: the letter before the delta looks like an L (SMAL), and the lettering has the distinctive look of the late Alexandrian bronzes
