This advertising farthing featuring not-quite-conjoined heads was issued by coin dealer Matthew Denton of Smithfield, Midddlesex, in 1795. Bell explains the obverse legend as follows: "Denton was something of a wit, and the obverse of his advertisement ticket demanded the question. 'Where is the third blockhead?' and the answer is 'You.'" I guess you had to be there... Middlesex, D&H 1053.

A private commercial issue, this 32mm bronze medal was struck in 1897 to commemorate Victoria's 60th anniversary as Queen. The conjoined foursome represents the entire line of succession alive at that point, who ultimately headed the monarchy for another 39 years: Edward VII, George V, and great-grandson Edward VIII (Elizabeth II's uncle).
