1982 P Lincoln Copper Cent Real Or Fake?

OriginalAtog Valued Member United States 171 Posts	Posted 09/10/2021 05:10 am I found a 1982 small date Lincoln Cent that seems off. It is thicker than normal. At least the rim is defiantly thicker. If they made a high relief penny this would defiantly fit the bill. Last picture is a side by side comparison of the edge with a normal 1982. It weighs 3.11 grams. I find it odd someone would make a fake of the Philly 1982 penny. Report this Post to the Staff

The circumference is smaller than a normal cent. 3. The rim is higher than than what would be normal. 4. The rim is not rounded, but thinner than normal. All clues for a Dryer Coin.
