Neither one of those trees looks like those here. An oak is strong and hard... not corky. That layer cake tree is a cedar? Hmm.
So much to learn Hondo.

Thank you all! Yes, they don't don't have the typical "gumdrop" shape of our pampered trees, but the depictions on the coins are quite accurate. Cork is made from the outer bark of cork oaks. The cedar of Lebanon ( Cedrus libani)  Cork oak ( Quercus suber)  Harvesting cork oak bark, which does not hurt the tree:
