Hi guys-

Have any of you ever had "Sellers Remorse"? Me- the super lots from Syria and Turkey late 1990s to early 2000s. Remember them? When they dried up- Saudi lots. LOL!

I recently had to add storage to my OneDrive and took a quick look on what was on it. I found a picture of a coin I purchased in 2010 that I paid a bit over spot for. I sent it to NGC Ancients and it came back 5/5 for strike and 5/5 for surface. I don't remember the exact details but I think probably Syracuse, Sicily Dionysius I Gold 20 Litrae.

Well- I sold it. Now that I am a bit better off I wish I had it back. LOL. I know that NGC sometimes has pics of their ancient certifications but I have not figured out how to find this one. If you know how please let me know.

The only circumstance I can think of for seller's remorse
is if a similar coin can never be purchased at some later point in your life to replace it.

Coin pictured could well fall into that category for me.

To help soothe that sort of grief, wait patiently for some other completely different irreplaceable coin.

I had, not ancients but hundreds upon hundreds of englehard silver ounce bars I paid $5 each for. Canvas bank sacks. Sold them all at $8 each and was so proud until they shot up to $27 each...
